On Saturday April 12th, A Salon 7 celebrated their 4th anniversary with their annual White Party!
I missed out last year. So when I found out the date for this year's party, I started planning my outfit right away! What I love most about this is that this party isn't just about A Salon 7, it's about the community. A Salon 7 raised money for many different charities ranging from Northern Nevada H.O.P.E.S. to Special Victims and Survivors of Cancer.

Now, I for one am not for skiing or snowboarding, I am however fond of enjoying our wintery conditions from the safety of a warm, cozy room with good friends and good cocktails. Thankfully Winterfest embraces people like me with the same warmth and hospitality they have for the avid skiers and snowboarders who frequent this week long winter event.

Looking for something different to do on Labor Day weekend? My suggestion, take the short two hour drive to Sacramento for their annual Rainbow Festival. This was the first time of going to this festival which I have been seeing advertisements for years. Meredith Tanzer, Phillip Brown and I left Reno in an impromptu manner Saturday evening, booking a last minute hotel room, and hauling ass down the freeway.
