Quaint yet stylishly chic, The Blue Plate has a great view of California Ave, along with great atmosphere featuring stark white table cloths and bright, vibrant artwork on the exposed brick walls, and great food! The Greek/Chinese hybrid menu is something Reno has never seen before! My favorite dish is the Pat Salad, a cold noodle salad with chicken and vegetables tossed in a slightly spicy peanut sauce. It is to die for! Every Friday night is Greek Night, a favorite among the locals. If you’re feeling romantic and its weather permitting, The Blue Plate also offers a beautiful back patio for dining al fresco! The spanokapita is some of the best I’ve ever had! This Mother and Daughter Team (Valerie Curtis and Harriet Ellis) definitely know how to keep people coming back for more!
