Reno Gay Pride is proud to announce the selection of CHEER SF for the 2008 Grand Marshall, for their outstanding commitment to Community.

For over 25 years, CHEER San Francisco has been thrilling crowds locally, nationally and internationally with its unique brand of high-energy routines. This all-volunteer group is dedicated not only to providing polished professional entertainment, but also raise monies for direct-care service organizations serving individuals with HIV/AIDS and other life-challenging conditions.

Reno Gay Pride celebrates 12 years of making positive changes in the inclusive spirit of showcasing diversity and community spirit with our annual parade. Our parade benefits family members within the community by giving every individual the opportunity to be out and proud helping to build self esteem, leaving no one out.

Club Cal Neva has been selected as the Host Hotel and will be the center of activities including the Welcome Reception on Friday night. Special room rates are available by calling 877-777-7303 and using the rate code PRIDE08.
The Reno Gay Pride Parade kicks off at 11:00 am on Saturday morning, August 16, at Fourth & Arlington (Sands Regency Casino Hotel) and will continue to the Festival grounds at Wingfield Park.

Under cool shade trees in Wingfield Park, along the Truckee River, guests will enjoy a full day of live performances and entertainment on the amphitheater stage.

Enjoy a wonderful day of shopping with our unique vendors... strolling through the beer garden... and sampling a variety of foods with friends and loved ones.
