We Have Some Big Changes Coming

June has been a period of tremendous growth and expansion for yourgayreno.com. We have launched our podcasts ahead of schedule and under budget, begun selling ads on a larger scale, have secured the sponsorship of local businesses for our upcoming summer social, and are planning an exciting surprise for all our viewers.

First things first, though. The yourgayreno.com podcast is now searchable and subscribable on the iTunes Music Store (Subscribe to it here: ). The yourgayreno.com podcast brings you updates on upcoming events for the weekend, as well as run-downs of past events and interesting tidbits of pithy banter. As with anything, there were some kinks, bugs, and technical gremlins to work out, but after a large capital investment in professional, radio-quality equipment and exhaustive planning sessions, Episode 2 should be astounding. Soon, we will have a schedule of upcoming shows and interesting guests, and encourage you to participate via email or in the studio.

For those of you who were at the Launch Party in January, you know we know how to throw a party! Look for special guest appearances by the 33rd Emperor and Empress, Daniel Surreal Foxx and Anna Duvet, music by DJ Ducky, and myriad other surprises. Mark your calendars!

July 18th is also the official launch of yourgayreno.com v2.0, bringing you a whole new, more user friendly layout, new pages (including an actual visitors guide), photo galleries, and a chat room where you can chat directly with members of the community and the YGR staff!

Additionally, we are in the process of compiling names of those interested in helping us plan and implement the yourgayreno.com booth at Pride in the Park . While there will be no specific YGR float in the parade, we are sponsoring a local charity's float and will be walking with them, so keep a keen eye out for the banner!
