Do you love to shop? Do you love wine? What about both at the same time? Well then come on down to The Arts District in Downtown Reno and partake in the wonderful experience known as the Wine Walk! The River Merchants Association of Downtown Reno came up with this wonderful idea to promote what a wonderful area The Arts District is! You can casually wander through stores such as La Bussola (one of our favorites!), Cavanaugh’s, or sip your wine while taking in the art at River Gallery.

For just $20.00 you get a map of all participating merchants, most times up to 30 different boutiques, bars, art galleries, and restaurants. You also get a glass; I suggest starting at La Bussola, Sasha’s, or 5 Star Saloon for a beautifully decorated glass! Then get a sampling of wine at every stop along your map.

This is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon with your friends. Drink some wine, do some shopping, stop by Silver Peak, Imperial Bar and Lounge (our favorite stop for gourmet pizza and eye candy after the Wine Walk), or Wild River Grill for some dinner. Then catch a movie at the Century Riverside Theatre.

The Wine Walk is held every third Saturday of every month. And I mean every month! So come down and have some wine and some good times! We look forward to seeing you there!
