The Bush administration has launched an aggressive campaign to pressure the House into passing retroactive immunity for telecoms that participated in the government’s warrantless wiretapping program.

Sacramento Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

Starting Thursday October 9th, the Sacramento International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival begins at the Crest Theatre. Individual movies start at $9 a movie and a weekend pass is $39. Students get in for $7. The movies will be shown at the Crest Theatre located at 1013 K Street, in Sacramento. You can go to, www.thecrest.com for directions.

On Sunday night Peter Paige, aka Emmett Honeycutt from Queer As Folk wil be doing an advance screening of "Leaving Barstow". You can find out about the festival at ww.siglff.org.
