The ReNO AIDSCommunity Task Force™ and A Rainbow Place are pleased to announce Bar AIDS®.

Mix: One part night on the town, two parts fundraiser and a dash of HIV awareness. Add a twist of philanthropy and you have the ReNO AIDS Community Task Force's newest undertaking- Bar AIDS!

From now until December 1, 2008 - World AIDS Day - participating businesses will be selling Bar AIDS Martini Badges for amounts from 5$ to 20$. You put your name on the badge, the business hangs it up. Think McDonalds and Jerry's Kids... but prettier.

After Pride Party at the Lake Mansion

While yourgayreno.com may not always be able to cover every special event and party, the After Pride Party at the Lake Mansion deserves special attention considering the general opinion of he 4th Annual White Party. Once again, Brian Aranda and Ashlee B. Stone aimed high with their production standards, and it seems – this time - they successfully executed their shared vision.

I'd like to tell you that being a mom is fun and easy and maybe in a “normal” world it might be. In my world, your world, it isn't like that at all. I am a single, lesbian woman with children. I didn't always identify myself as a lesbian, nor did I always identify myself as single.
It has been a long, hard life and I am only 29 years old. I was asked to talk about this topic, but please be aware that I will not be sugar coating anything and if at any time you have had enough, please put this down and continue with your daily activities.
