The Beat 23 - Pride without prejudice…LGBT of course!

As we roll past the official first day of summer this week, we discuss events from the Reno Rodeo and Nada Dada Motel to San Francisco Gay Pride, and beyond…summer fun is just warming up!

We remember Leonard Matlovich, who died 22 years ago today and was first gay man to fight the military’s ban on gays. He was on the cover of Time magazine in 1975. We can’t let Stonewall slip by either; June 28 is the 41st anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.

Angela shares her personal experience of attending the Prop 8 closing arguments in San Francisco last week and we review some of the positive LGBT recent news and how it has stirred the right-wing to call it the "Festival of Perversion."
