How tough is Reno and environs on Queers
I am an over 40 post-operation male to female transsexual who likes women.
I'm in Seattle at what appears the end of a computer software career retraining as a table game dealer.
Also, I've become quite concerned about the amount of fluoride added to nearly every water supply in Washington. I've become aware that, except for Clarke County, Nevada is fluoride-free.
It seems natural that the Tahoe/Reno area be considered as a real possibility.
I was in Reno years ago. A relative, in law enforcement, who was there last year has repeatedly warned me that the Reno area is very cowboy redneck and it would only be a matter of time until someone beat the bejabbers out of me.
I don't drink and so don't frequent bars. Having been 'different' all my life I'm fairly sensitive to such dangers and haven't had the bejabbers beat out of me yet.
How would you assess the threat level for an over 40 TS lesbian in the Reno area?
